Aloha! I’m Jessica Trudell, owner and bartender behind Kauai Event Bartending. I’m originally from Kansas, but nearly a decade ago, my family and I made a life-changing move to Kauaʻi to adopt an adult with autism. What started as a huge leap of faith became home, and Kauaʻi has become an incredibly meaningful part of our family’s story.
I’ve spent more than 15 years behind the bar, and I still genuinely love what I do. Give me fresh ingredients, house-made syrups, bitters, tinctures, shrubs, edible flowers, and a little room to experiment, and I’m in my happy place. Creating a cocktail that perfectly fits a couple, celebration, or moment is one of my favorite parts of KEB.
But bartending has never just been about drinks for me. It’s about people. Hospitality means making someone feel welcomed, remembered, and cared for—even if they’re only standing at your bar for a few minutes.
Kauai Event Bartending brings all of those pieces together: my love of people, creativity, cocktails, and this island we’re fortunate to call home.
And one last thing you should probably know about me: I will always have a soft spot for a perfectly made Negroni. 🍊🍸

FINALLY! After 15 years- Will and I decided to get married. March 8, 2027 @The Mob Museum in Las Vegas. The date is significant because 80 years ago on that date my grandparents were married in Lordsburg, New Mexico March 8, 1947. ❤️❤️

This passion is what inspired me to start Kauai Event Bartending—so I can share your story and celebration through a cocktail. I revel in the intricate dance of crafting bitters, tinctures, and shrubs, meticulously blending ingredients to create complex profiles that surprise and delight. My immersion in product knowledge and current trends allows me to innovate and experiment, ensuring that each drink not only quenches thirst but also ignites curiosity.
From fresh herbs to unexpected garnishes, I constantly seek new ways to enhance the sensory experience of my cocktails. Every creation is an opportunity to explore uncharted territories of flavor, inviting patrons to embark on a flavorful journey with each pour.
